PayCert certifies for the first time the functional conformity of an eMRTD (electronic Machine Readable Travel Document) with the specifications ISO/IEC 14443:2016 and travel documents ICAO Doc 9303 7th Edition.
The concerned product is an electronic Resident Permit, developped by Gemalto Thalès Group.
The evaluation tests were successfully performed by the service test center ICUBE, on the basis of ISO/IEC 18745-2 for general and specific tests of the contactless interface of eMRTDs and TR ICAO part 3 for LDS (Logical Data Structure) and protocol testing (layers 6-7).
